Jujitsu is a Japanese system of philosophy, combat and self-defense; it is one of the world's oldest martial arts. Jujitsu is unique among the martial arts in its effectiveness, simplicity, and full range of techniques.
We teach Danzan Ryu Jujitsu, the system founded by Professor Okazaki in Hawaii. Students learn escapes, evasion, holds, chokes, throws, weapons techniques, striking, kicking, rolling and falling, groundfighting, as well as ki, kiai, healing techniques and restorative massage.
The art of Danzan Ryu Jujitsu excels in Self-Defense. It depends on skill and technique more than on strength and speed; it utilizes the actions of an adversary against himself to render an attacker incapable of further offensive action. The practice of Jujitsu is a lifetime recreational opportunity for any individual, regardless of size, age, physical condition or handicap.
